ISPO Munich ended on 29 January 2020 after four eventful and exciting days at the trade fair. In the 18 exhibition halls at Messe München, visitors could not only view the latest collections and most innovative products, but also had ample opportunity to see and feel the topic of sustainability. Many exhibitors are taking their responsibility in the outdoor industry seriously and have introduced processes to show sustainable products and materials. With around 80,000 visitors and 2,850 exhibitors, this year's ISPO was once again a complete success.

MEPLAN can also look back proudly on ISPO Munich 2020, where our team was able to implement a great variety of stand concepts.  In addition to a host of projects in the area of system stand construction, the company also realized creative design stands for well-known brands in the sports business.

The System stand division, among others, implemented the China Pavilion at ISPO Munich 2020. With an unbelievable 578 stands covering almost 8,000 square meters, the MEPLAN team gave everything to ensure a smooth trade fair for exhibitors. It took around 100 planning days for our colleagues to create this “Chinese World”.

The MEPLAN Design team focused on individual booth constructions. For each customer, tailor-made concepts were developed with perfectly coordinated details. The well-known sports brands Schöffel and killtec for example benefited from these individual booth designs.

For its long-term customer Schöffel, MEPLAN implemented a new, contemporary stand concept at ISPO Munich 2020. Everything was tailored to the current corporate design of the brand. The open space concept focused on the company's four latest collections, perfectly staging the selected product highlights.

MEPLAN is also very pleased with the design stand it built for killtec. It features a modular system, allowing for the conversion to other stand sizes. Shapes, colours and materials such as wood, concrete and steel were used that are reminiscent of the killtec showroom. A reception area enabled controlled access for visitors, while – thanks to transparent elements, the stand still appeared open and inviting.

Look forward with MEPLAN to the next ISPO Munich from 28 to 31 January 2021 in Munich!
